Q. What is your style of photography?

A: Photography by McRob uses a blend of photojournalistic, group posed, and candid, to get the best of all worlds in photography. We try very hard to be as invisible as possible during your wedding day and just let your day happen naturally. We are there to record the day in photographs.

Q. Who will our photographers be?

A: Lynne and Tom will be your photographers for Photography by McRob. They work together as a team and essentially be in two places at once, in order, not to miss a moment of your special day. For example, the bride and groom will usually get ready at the same time. By having two photographers, (male and female) we can capture images from both places at the same time.

Q. What type of camera equipment do you use?

A: We work exclusively with the latest Nikon professional digital 35mm camera equipment. We carry with us at least 3 cameras to every wedding, helping make sure everything is covered. We use only Nikon professional lenses to help ensure the best possible image quality. Our goal is to use as long a lense as possible, allowing us to take close up photographs without you being aware of the camera.

Q. How many photographs will we get?

A: Because we work exclusively in digital, we don't limit the number of photographs taken on your Wedding Day. This gives us the freedom to take as many pictures as needed, to make sure we get the best image possible. We usually deliver 100-140 images per hour of shooting, so for a 6 hour wedding you will usually get from 600-840 jpeg digital images.

Q. Do you only take pictures in color?

A: Every photograph taken during your Wedding Day is taken in color. Because we use digital equipment, any image can be customized as desired.

Q. How soon after our Wedding date will we get our pictures?

A: We will make every effort to have your photographs ready within one to two weeks after your Wedding Day. Your photography package will include (as negotiated) a DVD including large jpeg images for printing along with a photographers release certificate for personal use and printing of your images.

Q. How can I ensure that I get all my important pictues?

A: We will talk with you in the weeks preceding your Wedding Day to finalize the schedule, and to make sure we have enough time to capture any formal photographs you want. To help you organize your thoughts, we will provide a list of possible shots for you to choose from.
